Welcome to the Center for Race & Ethnicity (CRE)

ABOUT USThe Center for Race and Ethnicity has organized a wide range of panels, lectures, film screenings, and forums in order to promote interdisciplinary engagement with issues of race and ethnicity in the state, the region and the world. With an audience that includes students and educators, as well as the wider New Jersey community, the Center highlights the expertise of Rutgers scholars of varied specialties by drawing them into a collective conversation about issues of contemporary culture and public policy.   For a brief document that exemplifies the kind of work the center is engaged in, click here or on the image.
