Shakti Jaising
Research Assistant
Shakti Jaising is in her sixth year at Rutgers
and is pursuing a Ph.D. in English. Her interests are interdisciplinary
and include Postcolonial Literature, Marxist Theory, Film and Cultural
Studies. She is currently working on her dissertation which explores
the development of a new imperialist rhetoric during the last two
decades of the twentieth century.
