Graduate Assistant Positions, 2009-2010
The Center for Race and Ethnicity is seeking graduate student Graduate Assistants (fields unspecified) to participate in a range of research projects, academic programming, and emerging teaching activities as the Center enters its fourth year at Rutgers.  We seek ABD students with research experience in their discipline.  Students with interests in cross-disciplinary scholarship, and in participating in exchanges spanning schools, departments, and disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.  General information about the Center and its activities can be found at:  http://raceethnicity.rutgers.edu/.

Detailed information about the CRE Graduate Assistant experience can be found here.

The positions will involve weekly research group meetings, working papers, involvement in planning roundtable discussions, workshops, and conferences, and participation in new teaching activities in 2009-2010 which have emerged from roundtables this year.

Applicants should send a short letter, CV, and the names of references to Mia Kissil, Senior Program Coordinator: mkissil@rci.rutgers.edu.  Please indicate “Graduate Assistant Position” in the e-mail subject line. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 pm.  We expect decisions to be made by the end of April or first week in May.
